Number of guests
The number of persons, price, accommodation and other products and services to be provided by Smens Gårdar will be stated on the confirmation received by the guest after ordering. Children up to 36 months may sleep in their parents’ bed at no extra charge. Any extra guests that are not included in the booking will be charged a penalty fee set to 1000 SEK pp/night.
Cancellation Policy
The guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the booking, can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival (other than on special occasions, see below heading for specific terms applicable at Christmas, New Year and other specific periods). The guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the booking, will be charged 10% of the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival. The guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the booking, will be charged 80% of the total price if they cancel in the 5 days before arrival. We advise all guests ensure they have a valid travel insurance to cover any last minute events that prevent them from completing their stay.
Cancellation Policy Special Occasions
For Christmas, New Year, Midsummer and larger event bookings, the guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the booking, will secure a booking with a 15% non refundable booking deposit. The remaining payment for the stay will be charged 4 weeks prior to the stay. The guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the booking, will be charged 80% of the total price if they cancel in the 4 weeks prior to arrival. If they cancel in the 1 week prior to arrival they will be charged 100% of the stay. We advise all guests ensure they have a valid travel insurance to cover any last minute events that prevent them from completing their stay.
Check in & Check out
The booked property will be ready for checking in from 15:00 on the date of arrival. The check-out time is 11:00 on the departure date.
Check in/out time variations can be requested by the guest, however are subject to the discretion of Smens Gårdar, availability of the property and a possible additional charge.
Accomodation Rules
- Make yourselves at home, this is your time to unwind.
- Fireplaces – always follow the instructions at the properties for the use of indoor and outdoor fire places. The indoor fireplaces can crack if not used correctly.
- No furniture such as beds, tables or sofas shall be moved. We cater to many large groups and make it our utmost priority to set up the house in the optimal way to suit your needs. Should you need anything changed please contact Smens Gårdar and we will work out a solution together with you.
- Hot tub – at the properties with a hot tub always follow the instructions at the property.
- Pets – we love animals and try to do everything we can to accomodate pets at prior notice. No animals may sleep in the beds or on furniture at the properties. The guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the booking, is responsible for any damage to property caused by their pets.
- The horses – At Hästgården most of our guests book activities with the horses or simply enjoy them from the garden. Do not feed the horses anything or enter the horse fields without a member from Smens Gårdar accompanying you.
- All indoor spaces are non-smoking. In case of infringement of this rule, Smens Gårdar will claim compensation for extra cleaning of the accomodation. This compensation has been set at 2500 SEK, and will be added to the final bill of the guest. Any cigarette buts from smoking outdoors must be left in ashtrays.
- Park on the gravel, never on the lawn.
- While we love electrical vehicles and plan to incorporate charging stations in the future, we are currently unable to offer any charging of vehicles at our properties. Please contact Smens Gårdar for information about your nearest charging station.
Damage to property
The guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the booking, is responsible for any damage to property resulting from negligent or irresponsible behaviour by guests.
We would remind you that failiure to follow the accomodation rules will result in a charge to the guest, or whoever is the guarantor for the booking, for any damages caused.
The guarantor for the booking is reponsible for all members of their party throughout the duration of their stay.
